New Job

Today is Dallas' first day at his new job! We feel so blessed to have him be working today. Dallas is now working for a company called Shenker Logistics. His division of Shenker works at the Intel property on Dobson and they provide all the shipping and receiving for Intel. He will be working in a warehouse pulling and stocking parts for Intel. Normally his schedule will be Thursday, Friday, Saturday and every other Wednesday, 12 hour shifts.

In addition to Shenker, Dallas is working for a good friend of ours, Paul Stetka. Paul is a real estate agent and has a lot of foreclosure homes on his books that need yard maintenance. With his 3 or 4 day a week schedule at Shenker, Dallas has enough of time to do yardwork for Paul.

I am certain that his job at Shenker is an answer to our prayers and fasting. He interviewed there and was told a few days later that he did not receive the position. We fasted and prayed with some friends and close family and within a couple days they called back and offered him the job. Some may say it was a coincidence but the peace I felt from the fast did not come as a coincidence. The only explaination was a loving Heavenly Father reassuring me that everything was going to be okay. I know He is giving us these trials to strengthen our faith and resolve to trust in him no matter how bleak things get.
