Grandparents Day

My mom is probably one of the best grandmas around. She is always doing things with and for her grandchildren. It may be teaching them to sew, going to ball games or just visiting with them, but she is always playing a role in her grandchildren's lives. It is a sign of a good grandma when her teenage granddaughters come visit her on a Saturday evening instead of going out with their friends. That is just one small example. My mom is an awesome grandma.

Last Friday QCE had Grandparents Day. Grandparents were encouraged to come eat lunch with their grandchildren, take a tour of the school and have their pictures taken. My mom went with our kids and said she had a great time. Thank you, Mom, for going. It meant a lot to our kids to have you there.
